Sheriff Sales are held in the Beaver County Courthouse,
Beaver, Pennsylvania.
If an individual would like to bid on a property they must appear in person at the
Sheriff's Office on the day of the sale. The amount of the debt on individual properties
can be obtained from the Real Estate Department in the Sheriffs Office.
All sales are posted in the Sheriff's Office at least thirty (30) days prior to the the day
of the sale. The Sheriff Sales are published for
three successive weeks on the Friday edition prior to the sale.
The sheriff sales are
published by the Beaver County Bar Association in the Beaver County Law Reporter.
The purchaser must pay taxes, costs, municipal liens, and twenty (20) percent of the bid in
cash, certified check, or Attorneys check. The balance of the bid price, plus the cost of
the Deed are payable within thirty (30) days of the sale. Sheriffs poundage will be added to
the purchase price and paid by the purchaser. Sheriffs Poundage is 2% of the bid price up
to $100,000.00 and .05% of any amount above $100,000.00.
